Budget airline Ryanair says it will stop flights to the resort of Alicante following a row over cash with Spanish airport bosses.

Ryanair claims it is being forced to pay £2 million by Alicante so will axe more than two-thirds of its flights in and out of the Costa Blanca from October.

Robin Hood’s summer-only timetable continues as planned.
